To ensure the safety of any technician working on a hybrid electric vehicle as many operate with voltages up to 650V ac. Disabling HV system using correct PPE/tools and checking for nil voltage before carrying out maintenance activities. Ensuring maintenance activities do not result in damage to vehicle systems. Suitable for: This course is designed for technicians who maintain hybrid vehicles. It covers the techniques required to work safely around a vehicle's hybrid / high voltage system, whilst carrying out maintenance activities.

Course review:

This three day course covers hybrid system components and operation, how to work safely on hybrid / high voltage systems and how to carry out maintenance activities on hybrid vehicles.

The course consists of blended learning using online learning resources for pre-course study and theoretical/practical training during the first two days of attendance. On the third day observed assessments and online multiple choice examination will be undertaken.
