Modules:
The course is broken up into various modules with supplementary documents, scripts and protocols to assist your learning. Each module breaks the course up into bite-size chunks for easier learning, so you can confidently complete one module before moving on to the next.
Module 1 – Hypnotherapy Practitioner Certificate
This module introduces you to the basics of hypnotherapy and culminates with you conducting a full smoking cessation hypnotherapy session with a smoker under supervision with one of your tutors. Topics include:

Modules 2 and 3 – SICH Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma
These modules build on the knowledge gained in module 1 to teach you the skills which are required for you to treat your own clients as a clinical hypnotherapist. Topics include:

Optional module 4 – the NCH Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD)
Despite the similar names, there are two HPD’s available in this course:SICH Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma – this is accredited by the Surrey Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy
NCH Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma – this is accredited by the National Council for Hypnotherapy
The SICH diploma gives you everything you need to become a professional hypnotherapist and join most hypnotherapy associations, but if you want a higher qualification issued by the National Council for Hypnotherapy, then you need to take module 4 as well.
Module 4 is dedicated to carry out the extra steps needed to be accredited with the NCH diploma. This includes additional training in the relief of other conditions including IBS and psoriasis, as well as paediatric therapy. This module also takes you through the learning outcomes set out in the Skills for Health National Occupational Standards.
By taking this extra module, you can gain an NCH diploma to go along with your SICH diploma which is the equivalent to an NVQ Level 4 and allows you to become a full member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy.
