Overview At a glance This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to administer and manage information and communications technology (ICT) support in small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) using a wide range of general ICT technologies. Persons working at this level provide a broader rather than specialised ICT support function, applying a wide range of higher level technical skills in ICT areas such as networking, IT support, database development, programming and web development. Offerings Distance Education
This course is available by Distance Education. The course material will be available online.
This program is offered online with training support through email and telephone. Distance students require self-motivation and must have 4-6 hours per week available for study for each unit. Because this course is self-paced students need well developed technology and literacy skills to read and follow text books. Basic numeracy skills are also required.
Students must have a computer with internet to access the online learning system.
Optional workshops will be available one night per week through Rockhampton.
