This course includes the follwoing units:

Unit 1: User Fundamentals i.e - how to start up a computer
Unit 2: Using email and the internet
Unit 3: Security for IT users i.e - protecting your data and computer

Once these units have been completed, students would then have to undertake an exam. If they pass this exam, then they will then receive their certificate.

Additional information

This Level 1 ECDL Essentials course is an intensive 10 week course and is recognised in all countries. By having this qualification can improve chances of job prospects and would help students to be more aware of how to use a computer.
Most things nowadays are completed by computer and the need for computer expertise is very important to any organisation. After successful completion of the course, students are then able to go on and do more advance courses in ICT. There is a wide range of ICT courses, but this can only be done by completing the initial stages.
