What do I need to get on the course? Entry is by interview and assessment. Formal IT qualfications are not required, but understanding of basic IT concepts is essential as well as English and Numeracy around Level 1.

What will I study? This course contains a unit in Customer Support, one unit from the Microsoft Desktop Support Technician qualification (MCDST), the new, updated CompTIA A.

What qualification will I get? City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma for IT Practitioners, (ICT Systems Support), CompTIA A+.

What can I do after the course? You can apply for the Microsoft Certified Systems Associate credential, which are offered with our City and Guilds Advanced Diploma course. You could also apply for Access to Computing, if you wish to progress to university.
