IELTS - International English Language Testing System

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is designed to assess the language ability of those who want to study or work where English is the first language of communication. It conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment.

Course Contents:

Reading

To be able to read semi-authentic texts of various kinds (informative and general interest) and to show understanding of gist, detail and text structure, deduce meaning, and able to answer the given questions correctly.

Writing

To write non-specialized text types such as letters, reports, reviews covering a range of topics and target readers and explanation of pie diagram, bar charts, maps and graphs.

Listening

To understand the meaning of spoken English, and to extract gist and meaning from spoken text. The texts are taken from a variety of text types including interviews, discussions, lectures and conversations.

Speaking

To be able to respond to questions and to interact in conversational English. It includes an interview section, a collaborative task based on a cue card and a discussion.
