International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the most widely-recognised English language qualification for students who want to go to university in an English-speaking country. IELTS is also recognised by employers and professional bodies. The course focuses on developing your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in an academic context, and includes essay and report writing and reading complex texts. We recommend that IELTS students also attend a Level 1 or Level 2 ESOL class to develop their wider language skills.
