Course Aims:
If you confused by financial jargon, have concerns about borrowing money and debt or want to learn how to manage your money better, then this course could be for you. This programme has been developed to help you become more confident about finance.

Course Content:
The Award in Personal Finance consists of one core unit:
Personal Financial Planning
4 topics covering areas such as: Your money and your life, taking control, making ends meet and asking the professionals.

Progression:
IFS Certificate in Personal Finance

Awarding Body:
IFS - School of Finance

Exam:
The assessment comprises of 30 stand alone items that test knowledge and understanding drawn from the studied topics. The exam is multiple choice.

Qualification:
IFS Award in Personal Financial Planning

Level:
Level 2

Duration:
Three hours a week x 10 weeks
