In the Edexcel IGCSE English Literature course you will examine some works of English literature and analyse the styles and techniques used by the authors. The IGCSE English Literature course will give you an appreciation of how writers use form, structure and language to achieve particular effects and will enhance your enjoyment of reading.
Objectives of the IGCSE English Literature Course
The Edexcel IGCSE in English Literature enables students to:
engage with and develop the ability to read, understand and respond to a wide range of literary texts from around the world
develop an appreciation of the ways in which authors achieve their literary effects and to develop the skills needed for literary study
