Year 1 (Level 4)
The first year introduces students to the fundamental principles you will need to become a professional illustrator. This involves developing an understanding not just of the tools and practices of illustration but of the way the industry works as well.
Modules
Year 2 (Level 5)
This year builds on and expands your illustrative style and ambitions. You will work on specialised projects in your chosen area of the course; illustration, graphic novels or children’s publishing. You will be introduced to advanced book and digital production processes and explore the broader contexts of illustration.
Modules
Year 3 (Level 6)
The final year is negotiated. You will work with staff to write the projects that demonstrate your flair for illustration, whether working on single images for publication or on extended comic stories or children’s books.
