Are you looking to move into a management position or improve your current role as manager ? Undertake this course on coaching skills delivered by PROCAT and gain the confidence required to mentor people effectively.
The course is aimed at people looking to improve their managerial skills, but is also the ideal choice for those starting a career in coaching. The programme is divided into four modules which will show attendees how to unleash their true coaching potential. They will learn how to provide coaching in the workplace, they will be able to plan and arrange coaching sessions using feedback and recording the coachee’s progress in order to identify areas for improvement and goals meeting.
This practical course consists of one day and a half at the centre venue, six weeks workplace training and another half day session. Delegates will have to do some assignments including a presentation and a project in order to gain the Institute of Leadership and Management Qualification in Coaching Skills Level 3.

1. Understand the context for effective workplace coaching2. Understand the process and content of effective workplace coaching
Undertake coaching in the workplaceBe able to plan and organise workplace coaching sessions1. Be able to undertake at least six hours effective workplace coaching2. Be able to summarise and analyse a period of formal coaching within the workplace using stakeholder feedback Reflect on workplace coaching skills1. Organise workplace coaching2. Know how to monitor, assess and record learner progress towards their goals3. Know how to use coaching records to identify areas for improvement in own workplace coaching practice
Undertake an extended period of supervised coaching in the workplace 1. Be able to plan and organise workplace coaching session2. Be able to undertake at least thirty six hours of effective workplace coaching activity3. Be able to collect feedback from coaching clients on own performance as workplace coach4. Know how to use tutorial supervision to develop and improve own coaching practice and to plan own continuing development as a workplace coach
