ILM Team Member Development

This ILM accredited course is a superb way in providing motivational training for your teams.
The programme consists of a number of practical activities designed to engage the delegates and encourage positive participation throughout the day.

The topics covered include:

  • What is mean by Teams and Teamwork


  • How groups become teams


  • The role of communication in shaping teams


  • What sort of behaviours are likely to cause difficulties in teams


  • Who their customers are and the role of customer standards


  • How to work together.



  • Each of the six sessions last about 40 mins. Each session is activity based and designed to bring out the learning points in an experiential way. By the end of the final activity, delegates should have developed enough awareness to apply their skills and knowledge consciously and should have the opportunity to develop as teams in their own rights.



  • The emphasis of the course is about team membership, and not team leadership, however, natural leadership skills may emerge from many of the activities, making a useful workshop to identify potential leaders in your organisation.

    This programme has a fairly generic content which can be adapted to suit all industries and levels of team members.

    Just Training (East Midlands) Limited is an HSE Approved First Aid at Work training facilitiy that offers a wide range of first aid and other health and safety related courses.

    Our Accrediting Body is Emergency First Response, one of the Worlds largest training organisations, providing global instructor training.

    We are located in Leicester with training facilities situated approximately 5 minutes from the junction of the M1/M69. We have easy access, on site free parking and on site catering facilities.

    Each delegates on a first aid course receives a full colour high quality manual and those attending First Aid at Work courses receive a free travel first aid kit.

    All instructors are highly qualified and experienced in providing emergency care. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing learning environment for all of our students.

    We also offer a wide range of Personal Develoment Skills and NVQ work based learning programmes.
