Lectures on the following subjects:

  • Causes and prevention of cardio-respiratory arrest
  • The ALS algorithm
  • Practical Stations
  • The ABCDE approach
  • Initial resuscitation and defibrillation
  • Airway (with optional LMA)
  • Optional targeted training
  • CASTeach

Demonstration:

  • There is one CASTeach demonstration. Emphasis is placed on managing patients until the arrival of the cardiac arrest team and on participating as members of that team
