Immediate Life Support

This is our most popular course. It follows the same programme as the Resuscitation Council affiliated course and sets the same standards in terms of expected outcomes. The difference is that the cost is significantly less, the quality is the same. All courses are delivered on site, bespoke to your needs and is designed to get the best from your team. Our current customers include Mental Health hospitals and many Independent hospitals throughout the Northwest of England. All our Instructors are registered as Advanced Life support (ALS) Instructors with the Resuscitation Council (UK) and have many years of experience in this area. The content of the courses includes:

• Pre-course reading provided 2 weeks prior to course
• Causes and prevention of cardiac arrest
• Basic Life Support including CPR, recovery position and management of choking
• Airway management including the insertion of LMA
• ALS algorithm
• Safe defibrillation
• Scenarios and candidate testing
• Successful candidates receive a certificate of competence (demonstrated during simulation) which is valid for 12 months
