Is this course for me?
This course provides supporting qualifications for IT
professionals who will be responsible for installation,
configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 2000
Professional and Windows 2000 Server operating systems. This
includes training on help desks, first and second line support,
technical and network support.
What will I study?
This course provides the skills for effective support for
Windows 2000 Professional and Server. This includes training on
installing or upgrading Windows 2000,configuring the Windows 2000
environment and connecting clients running Windows 2000 to networks
and the internet.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to be qualified on PC Fundamentals and have an
understanding of Local Area Networks (LANs). Knowledge of Microsoft
NT Workstation and Server is also desirable but not essential.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through a combination of multiple-choice tests and
practical assignments. You'll also meet regularly with tutors to
help plan your studies and to discuss your progress.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
