Improvised Explosive Device Awareness

Overview Since September the eleventh 2001 there has been a growing awareness of this highly volatile terrorist threat. As such we have developed a 1 day programme to provide Consultants with the skills necessary to deal with this threat. This course also forms part of our SIA Continuing Professional Development for Licensed Security Professionals. Course Content The course covers the following subject areas: - •Types of IED •Search Planning •The Hoax Call •The Postal Threat •The Criminal and IED’s •IED Threat Assessment & Contingency Planning Course Fees The cost of this course is £150.00 +VAT per person for individuals or £600.00 + VAT for in-house training for up to 12 delegates.
