This Introductory course gives you a better understanding of Muslims
in Britain, their basic beliefs and practices and help with Public Sector
Service development issues for Muslim Communities.
With the
introduction of the Race Relations Amendment Act 2000 and the Religious
Discrimination Regulations, there has been an increase in demand from
public sector organisations for greater access to courses and information
regarding the various cultures and religions that make up their
communities. The course helps in meeting the requirements of the new
religion and belief regulations introduced in December 2003.
