What does the course involve?
A course suitable for exisiting therapists looking to enhance their skills. A practical hands-on training leading to a qualification which is becoming widely known and used in the leading health spas and beauty salons.

What will I study?
Indian Head Massage students will study the following: Support Health, Safety and Security and Employment Standards, Provide Indian Head Massage. This involves the history of Indian head massage, anatomy and physiology to include the skeletal system, muscular system, circulatory system, respiratory system, skin, lymphatic system. Physical and physiological symptoms of stress. Use of Indian head massage to counterbalance stress. Relaxation techniques. Use and effects of oils and other mediums. Health and Safety/Business external multiple choice exam. The techniques have been formalised and extended for use by a wide group of people. Practical application covers massage to the shoulders, upper back, upper arms, neck, scalp and face using specific oils or powder.
