This Level 4 course will cover how to conduct Ultrasonic Lipo-cavitation treatments safely, covering necessary legislation, core knowledge and science behind the treatment as well as how best to handle the equipment and maximise treatment results.
According to the amount of fat the body stores, after puberty fat cells, although remain constant in number, change their size and volume. This fat can assume abnormal proportions in areas such as hips, thighs, stomach and arms. Non-invasive Ultrasonic Lipo-cavitation uses ultrasound waves to break down this excess fat.
The ultrasonic energy is delivered through the skin surface and, unlike surgical lipo- suction, there is no pain, incisions or recovery time. About this course
The Ultrasonic Lipo-cavitation Level 4 Course carries 8 credits and will qualify you for insurance cover. Some of these credits can be transferred to other courses if the subject matter overlaps. For example, if you have studied the necessary Health and Safety legislation in the Aesthetics sector, you will not need to cover this in the same amount of detail for any additional course which covers this same material.
Our Level 4 is suitable for Aesthetic practitioners who hold a Beauty Therapy Level 3 or equivalent, and includes a substantial theory component and a three-day practical training session where you will be asked to demonstrate your competence in the treatment through a series of assessments and exams.
