Keeping the hospital environment clean and tidy is one of the best ways of reducing the risk of the spread of infections. This video deals with the ‘What?’, ‘Why?’, ‘When?’ and ‘How?’ of Infection Control in Hospitals. The video is designed to help Domestics understand how to clean effectively, ensuring infections are controlled, whilst protecting themselves and others from infections at work.
Technical consultancy was provided by Penny Purdam, Fellow Member of the Association of Domestic Management and member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science.

18 minute DVD/video in 10 sections to be used in a suggested 2 hour training session.
