This course is for 16-18 year olds full time students run in conjunction with the Business and Retail First Certificate as well as upskilling in maths and English.  Alternatively you could be on an A Level programme at school and released to study the first certificate whilst continuing your studies at school.

Course programme

To study at level 2 it is recommended that you hold 4 GCSEs at D-G grades. Enthusiasm a must!


You will take part in a number of different activities that are sometimes with may include working in the industry, group work, individual study and projects to name but a few.


After the successful completion you have the opportunity to look at your options which are the workplace, other study or if you have achieved a minimum of a Merit grade you may be eligible to go on to study at level 3 which in turn can lead until employment or higher education.
