What is ITQ?

ITQ is the new NVQ for IT Users. As a simple solution to raising the IT user skills of the workforce. It delivers the IT skills and learning that employers most need.

ITQ provides you with a valuable, nationally recognised, qualification in IT user skills that has been designed by employers for recruitment purposes as well as for their workforce development.

What's in it for the Employer?

ITQ has been designed to provide you with an up to date IT user qualification for your workforce, tailored to the needs of your business and your staff. It recognises that all organisations need IT skills. ITQ even allows for the addition of bespoke units in appreciation that many employers have IT systems that may be unique to them.

ITQ is an ESF funded project for employed (or self employed) people. This is an opportunity for staff to gain a Level 2 ITQ qualification or Units towards a Level 3. As it is an NVQ, there are no exams with the ITQ. Students are assessed on their everyday IT skills through documents produced. Observations are made by an Assessor; these observations will need to be undertaken in a working environment.
