About this course
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will have:
•Developed an understanding of the related anatomical features of the circulatory, muscular and nervous systems.
•Studied the current guidance and best practice in administering injections.
•Discussed storage of injections (including cold chain), holding, consent and recording.
•Observed the administration of injections and have the opportunity to practice, using a simulated device.
•Manage Anaphylaxis according to Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines (2008).
•Observed simulated auto injectors being used.
This course is intended for Healthcare Assistants who wish to increase their responsibility and learn how administer injections
Certificate of attendance will be awarded on completion of the course.
