Course objectives

What will I experience? Innovation Engineering at Portsmouth is a leading-edge, creative, multi-disciplinary course that involves experimentation, design, engineering and enterprise activities. The course gives you the opportunity to work across the fields of mechanical, electronic, design and materials engineering, and to enhance your communication, entrepreneurial and leadership skills, enabling you to solve real-world problems that have an impact on society. Teaching and learning is based around projects, which are research and industry based or speculative to inspire you about solving some of the key global challenges that face our society. There will be opportunities for industry collaborations and access to a network of world-leading experts and scientists working in nanotechnology, robotics, new materials and sustainable energy.
