You will need an informal interview plus one of the following: GCSE passes grade C or above including English and Maths BTEC First Award Aged 21 years or above without formal academic qualifications, but with some relevant work experience

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
As a credit manager you will require higher level skills with a notable emphasis on planning, number and client skills which will be provided on this course. WHAT WILL I STUDY?
In addition to credit management techniques, the qualification aims to provide general business education that covers management skills and relevant aspects of accountancy, law and the business environment. You will study the following subjects:
Business Law; Tuesday 15th September 2009 (6.30pm-9.30pm) (1b958-09)
Credit Management; Thursday 17th September 2009: (6.30pm - 9.30pm) (1b964-09)
The Business Environment; Tuesday 26th January 2010: (6.30 - 9.30pm) (1b963-09)
Thursday 14th January 2010: Accountancy (6.30pm - 9.30pm) (1b962-09)
You will be assessed by external examinations in January and June 2009.
WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
To complete the course in one year you will need to attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
In addition, you will need to spend 6 hours per week on coursework at home or in college. However, you can elect to extend your study programme to suit your needs.
WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?
Upon successful completion of the course you will gain an ICM Level 3 Certificate in Credit Management. On passing all certificate examinations there is an opportunity to become an Associate Member of ICM, which will provide you with information and networking opportunities.
