Course programme

This course covers the theory and practice of inspection and testing electrical installations. It is ideal for domestic installers that do not have a requirement to carry out periodic inspection and testing of installations. The assessment consists of a practical assessment of the candidates ability to inspect and test an installation and a multiple-choice examination. It is ideal for those who are not experienced at Inspection and testing or who may not have recent experience. This course would be invaluable for those carrying out defined scope electrical installations in accordance with Part P of the Building Regulations

Career opportunities: Inspection and Testing is an integral part of making additions and alterations or adding new electrical installations to a building. Registration/Certification Bodies will verify an applicants ability to inspect and test an installation as part of the application process.
