Background to the Course
This course equips supervisors, trainers, managers and team leaders with the essential skills and knowledge required to provide training and instruction to others. The ability to communicate and to pass on skills effectively and efficiently in today’s fast moving commercial environment makes good economic and business sense.

The course is suitable for managers, supervisors and trainers at all levels.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course participants will have developed skills in instructional techniques to enable them to communicate information clearly and effectively and be able to pass on skills and knowledge to others.
Course Content
Covering but not confined to:
- Identification of training needs
- Effective communication
- Recognising and overcoming barriers to communication and learning
- Analysing tasks and preparing aids for instruction
- Conducting training instruction sessions clearly and effectively
A three - day practical course with exercises at the end which the participants will be required to produce training plans and instructional notes relevant to their place of work on which they will be assessed at a one day follow up. The successful completion of this assessment will lead to the award of the EPIC Certificate of Achievement. The units L11 & L12 can also now be offered to be incorporated within this course.
