The course will help delegates understand the commercial importance of intellectual property (IP) and improve their skills when dealing with IP matters. It begins with an overview of the main types of IP, but its focus
is on drafting clauses commonly found in licensing agreements and assignments.

Some time will also be spent looking at the main considerations when undertaking IP due diligence in a general commercial transaction, as well as some contentious IP matters.
