Course programme

Course review:

Would you like to start your own footwear label? Based on an extremely popular seminar series which has been running in London for several years, this course is designed to give you a brief but intensive overview of the footwear design industry.

Now only available in the USA, this course is truly a unique opportunity to learn from the industry's leading minds. We are running this both in Berkeley, San Francisco and JCC of Manhattan in New York, so students in the US can take advantage of this unique opportunity.

The second day will feature a seminar on what it takes to start a label. The full design cycle will be explored, from design idea to the point when a shoe goes into the shop for sale. It will help you answer questions such as: 'How do I find a factory?', 'How many pieces should be in my first collection?' and 'When and where should I sell my collection?'

All necessary materials for design practise are included.
