Intensive Introduction to Scriptwriting for Screen

Course review:

Our Intensive One Day Introduction is designed for new writers wanting to get started with writing for the big or small screen. The day covers:

• Structure
• Character
• Dialogue
• Formatting

By the end of the day you will be ready to writing your own scripts! We also offer a follow on weekly group to develop your writing further.

You do not need any experience to attend this course. The day is informal and informative with practical hints and tips for getting your ideas written down.

Writing can be a lonely task. This session is a great opportunity to meet other new writers and share experiences. On the day all you need is a pen and paper - a writers best friends.

After the 1 day introduction you'll be invited onto the 6 week script development course where you can put the theory into practice and start writing your own scripts.

6 Week Development Group
The 6 week development group is an opportunity to put the theory into practice and get feedback on your work. You can work at your own pace and will be steered by the facilitor as to what to do next with the development of your script.

Current participants are writing short films, TV series and films. It's a great chance to share ideas, keep motivated and build a portfolio of work.

On the final session of the 6 week block actors are invited in to read sections of our writers work.
