About this course

To provide training in this specialised and growing field of Interior Design.

Anyone interested in natural living and creating healthy, beautiful homes using natural materials. It is a professional training course for those wanting to start a new career, or those with a home project they want to design.

Student must be 18 years of age with good written and spoken English.
A creative ability and some basic drawing skills but no technical drawing required.
A interest in holistic interior design to create beautiful and life-enhancing spaces in order to help people make the most of their home and work spaces.

International Diploma in Holistic Interior Design awarded by the Holistic Design Institute.

Holistic Interior Design is a much more environmentally friendly and sensitive way of creating healthy and beautiful interiors that provide the occupants with uplifting healthy spaces to live and work.

You can enrol anytime onto a one year program but most students complete the course in around 6 months, studying part-time.

At the end of each lesson there is a question sheet to answer, and this may include feedback of some of the practical tasks you have carried out. At the end is a mini final project that may include a room layout, colour scheme and mood board.

You learn how to create a balanced harmonious interior by giving your home a top to toe health check. Then by using the principles of colour therapeutics, Feng Shui, dowsing for EMF you will learn how to use natural materials, light, aroma and sound to enhance the space so you can enjoy your home to the fullest. On completion you will be able to work confidently as a Holistic Interior Designer and start a new career although this course is also suitable for designers who wish to extend their skills and offer their clients a specialist service.
