About this Course

Technical theatre is part of the performing arts industry and as an apprentice you will begin by training as an assistant sound, lighting or stage technician, where you will learn how lighting and theatre can dramatically alter the mood and shape of a performance to delight audiences.



You will have the opportunity to progress onto alternative job roles as your skill set develops.

      After completing this Apprenticeship, you could progress onto the Advanced Apprenticeship in Technical Theatre, or move onto employment in the technical theatre industry.

      • Level 1 qualification
      • Level 1 in ICT, English and maths or equivalent
      • The candidate should demonstrate a desire to work within technical theatre
