Course Content: This qualification provides an assessment of knowledge and competence across the following areas: Preparing for spectator events Controlling the entry, exit and movement of people at spectator events Monitoring spectators and dealing with crowd problems Supporting the work of the team and organisation Helping to manage conflict Dealing with accidents and emergencies How will I be assessed? Because this is a competency-based qualification, the majority of evidence will be gathered through learner observation, products of work and questioning. However, for some units contained within the qualification, simulation is permitted. Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? There are no additional costs involved. What can I do after this course? You can utilise this certificate to work as a qualified and competent live event steward.
