Entry requirements
You must be using a variety of IT applications either at work or home. The Level 1 and 2 qualification should be taken by those who are seeking a job in - or are employed in - an office/IT-based environment and already have a range of skills in a variety of applications. Level 3 is only for those employed in a supervisory or management role who already have substantial skills in IT.

Course Content: To achieve a full Level 2 QCF iTQ Certificate in IT User Skills, you must complete a total of 16 credits. This comprises one mandatory unit (Improving Productivity using ICT) and a combination of optional units. How will I be assessed? A workplace assessor will be assigned to you at work. They will assess 'real' evidence via work tasks, questions and observations. There are no formal exams and all work is stored electronically.
