Intermediate Patchwork & Quilting

This is class is a follow-on from the beginners class and will expand on the techniques already learned. It is a 2 day workshop where you will learn a variety of different level patchwork blocks, hand & machine appliqué techniques, different quilting methods including free-motion and other interesting techniques to bring texture to your work . You will also learn the quilt as you go method enabling you to make a large quilt in a domestic setting, ideal for those of you finding it daunting to make and quilt a large item. If you have not taken the beginners quilting course you will need a basic knowledge of machine quilting techniques including rotary cutting. All materials, equipment and sewing machines are provided
