Requirements
Delegates will be required to carry out a series of internal verifications with candidates in the workplace, and submit a portfolio of evidence based on this in order to complete the award.
Notes
The above price includes all course materials, registration with awarding body and certification. In addition a minimum of 2 assessment visits will be required and these will be charged at £120 per visit and the final verification fee of £130 will be charged on completion.

Objectives
This course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the skills and techniques required to carry out internal verification of workplace assessment against national vocational standards. Successful completion of the course and a portfolio of workplace evidence will lead to the award of the V1 Internal Verifier''s Award.
The course will enable to delegate to build the knowledge and skills to:
1. Explain the relationship between assessment centres, verifiers and awarding bodies.
2. Identify the role and responsibilities of the Internal Verifier (IV).
3. Understand the competencies required of an Internal Verifier.
4. Evaluate types, sources and criteria of evidence submitted
5. Provide advice and support to assessors.
6. Deal with candidate appeals.
7. Understand and implement the I.V. process
8. Identify, develop or create system documents
9. Understand and use sampling techniques within the process.
10. Build a sampling strategy.
11. Identify the expectations of an External Verifier.
Requirements
Candidates will be required to carry out a series of three verifications with at least two candidates in the workplace, and submit a portfolio of evidence based on this in order to complete the award.
