The main objective of International Marketing is to become familiarised with the needs of customers in foreign markets and to satisfy them better than the competition, coordinating the diverse activities in marketing in a global context. This subject includes the foundations of international marketing, the basic principles on which business decisions are based, the appropriate strategies to reach the goals of marketing in foreign markets and the elaboration of an international marketing plan, along with the main techniques and procedures used currently in foreign commerce, whose command is essential to act effectively in foreign markets.

About this course

The objectives of International Commerce and International Negocitation are the analysis of the elements of mix marketing in an international context, the knowledge of the distinctive characteristics and the peculiarities that a plan in international marketing for a company involved in international operations and practical application of the subject with examples and real cases from the Spanish and international business world. The course will provide the student with general components wich make up the stage on which international negociations occur.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students from Spain or abroad who want to experience internationalization, studying the areas of knowledge covered in depth.

Technical visits to businesses and public and private institutions and bodies relating to the content of the course.
Cultural visits to the Prado Museum and the Monastery of El Escorial.

The following documents must be provided:

Application form
A letter of recommendation from one of the lecturers at your host university.
A photocopy of your passport.
A photocopy of the compulsory medical insurance.
A copy of the confirmation of the bank transfer for payment of the course.
Document which certifies the applicant´s level of Spanish (for students from non-Spanish-speaking countries).
Application deadline: Before April 30.

Additional information

The price of the courses (without accommodation) is 1,300 euros including, as well as classes, a student card, access to all of the University's services, cultural visits to the Prado Museum and El Escorial monastery, technical visits to businesses and public and private institutions and bodies, a diploma, and your transcript.

The Information and Student Reception Office provides students with what they want from a varied accommodation service: families, rooms in flat shares with other students, and halls of residence.
