Preparing you to work in this dynamic field, our International Tourism Management degree top-up course will expand upon your existing skills and knowledge to help mould you into a skilled professional ready to enter a range of careers.

By taking this tourism top-up degree, you will learn higher management concepts and techniques and apply them to destinations and tourism organisations within the context of the international environment, as well as examining the intercultural and social dimensions of international tourism.

Studying at a recognised Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) Centre of Excellence, you will have access to travel and tourism events hosted on campus, along with use of our state-of-the-art simulation facilities within our brand new Aviation and Tourism Suite. You will also have the chance to put your learning into practice through an overseas residential visit to a major international tourism destination, letting you gain valuable first-hand insight and experience before you graduate.

If you have previously studied a relevant subject up to Level 5, you will be able to enrol on our one-year top-up course. If you have previously studied a relevant subject up to Level 4, you can apply to transfer onto our course at Level 5 for the remaining two years of your degree.

Additional information

UK/EU students

A half year tuition fee is £4,625. UK/EU students do not pay tuition fees for any placement periods.

International students

If you are an international student enrolling on a a full-time foundation degree or a BA/BSc in 2020/21, your fee for this academic year will be £11,500 per year. If you complete a placement year, there will be an administration fee of £500 for a full year, or £250 for a half-year placement.
