Course programme

At level 4, you will begin to acquire the technical and academic skills that will set you up for further study and employment. In addition to being introduced to the theories that underpin the development of a variety of Internet applications, you will be technically trained in order to establish a balanced grounding for further study. In level 5, you will begin to focus largely on the implementation of Internet based solutions, using problem solving techniques and knowledge of theoretical sources. You will also participate in a group project, which will prepare you for your Final Year Project in terms of organisational skills, academic skills and time management. During level 6, the technical skills that you have previously acquired will be developed to advanced level, at which point you will choose an area of expertise in which to complete your Final Year Project. Equally, you will be trained in business and employability skills to prepare you for future employment.
