CACHE - Enhanced learning programme

How to become a nanny? This short online course will provide students to the key aspects of becoming a nanny. The course has been developed in association with the British Association of progessional nannies (BAPN). Students will explore the role and requirements of what it takes to be come a qualified nanny. A great introductory course for any student considering becoming a nanny. The course provides a fantastic foundation for progression onto a fully recognised qualification.

For any student considering becoming a nanny. The course provides a fantastic foundation for progression onto a fully recognised qualification.

Students looking to enrol onto this course should meet the following criteria:
Be aged 16 Years or above
Possess a solid knowledge of the english language
Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
Basic computer skills
Have a genuine desire to succeed

This course provides successful students with a completion certificate from CACHE and their enhanced learning program. Awarding body CACHE is recognised as an awarding organisation by the qualification regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, who are: the office of the qualifications and examinations regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Welsh Government and the council for curriculum, examinations and assessment (CCA) in Northern Ireland.

Students are able to enrol online at any time of the year. No specific enrolment dates.

Topics covered

Developed in association with the British Association of Professional Nannies (BAPN), this course introduces learners to the key aspects of working life as a nanny. Learners will explore the role and responsibilities of a professional nanny, the main elements of working with children, and the health and safety considerations involved when working in the family home.

Intended as a general introduction to the profession, this course will give learners a real flavour of what’s involved in being a nanny. Assessment consists of four sets of ten multiple-choice questions. Learners do not need to be currently working with children to complete this course

Assessment

Students will progress through a series of topics online through our student portal. As students progress through the course they will complete four lots of multiple choice quiz type assessments. If you dont complete first time you can try the assessments again at no extra charge. Upon completion students can download and print a college certificate whilst awaiting their CACHE endorsed certification.
