This home study course will introduce students to the skills of Photo Journalism. Budding Journalists are provided with an insight into what's needed to become a photo journalist.

Split into two parts the course covers:
Part A Introduction to Freelance Journalism
Unit 1: Introduction to Freelance Journalism
Unit 2: What makes a good Freelance Journalist?
Unit 3: Gathering the News
Unit 4: Interviewing
Part B Introduction to Photo Journalism
Unit 5: Understanding Photo Journalism
Unit 6: Obtain and Record Cutline Information
Unit 7: Writing a photographic Cutline

Will introduce students to the skills of Photo Journalism.

Students looking to enrol onto this course should meet the following criteria:
Be aged 16 Years or above
Possess a solid knowledge of the english language
Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
Basic computer skills: e.g Word processing, emailing, uploading documents etc
Have a genuine desire to succeed
