Course Content:
This course is an introduction to the workplace and will build skills needed for employment. There are 3 core units, 2 personal skills units and 3 optional units from the following. Core - Starting work in business, retail and administration; Working in business, retail and administration; Introducing customer service. Personal Skills - Personal effectiveness; Social responsibility at work; Financial management. Optional - Ensuring personal health and safety at work; Communicating effectively at work; Introduction to retail; Introduction to administration; Work experience.

This qualification is equivalent to 4 GCSEs grade D-G.

Progression:
Successful students can progress to BTEC First Diploma in Business
