Course programme


Course Overview
This course will give you some recipes and techniques to use in a catering setting as well as focusing on food safety while working. This course leads to a recognised certificate in Food Safety that will be required if you plan to work in a catering environment.

Course Structure
A 20 - hour course. 2.5 hours over 6 weeks. I whole day (5hrs) for Food Hygiene.

Qualification Aims
This course will lead to a CIEH Award in Food Safety at Level 1.

Students can then progress onto a Level 1 Catering course at the College subject to interview
