Course programme

The course will focus on developing your customer care skills, food hygiene, preparing and cooking simple cafeteria food i.e. Home -made soups, chicken, leek and ham pie or simple cakes such as Banana bread etc. You will learn the skills of serving customers and will gain a brief introduction to Barista skills as well as understanding the basics of running a café stile/ tea shop operation. Students will also learn basic costings.

The course is three weeks in length and will commence any time throughout the academic year.

Course fees are dependent on your personal circumstances and you may be eligible for funding.
