Introduction to Digital Photography
Who is this for?
For anyone with a digital camera who wish to gain a full understanding of the techniques and principles of film and digital photography.

What Will I Learn?
To build confidence and creativity by using digital technology and to learn basic photographic techniques.

Content of the Course
This course is an introduction to the exciting and creative world of digital photography. You will gain an understanding of the functions of your compact digital camera, through both practical and theory based tuition. This will include composition, picture editing and printing. You must have a digital camera and some experience of using computers is required.

Equipment Needed
A digital camera.

Work needed to be Done outside of the Classroom
Some home study and personal research.

Assessment Details
Tutor led group discussions and small group work.
Project work and personal research.
