Introduction to EFT - (Emotional Freedom Technique)
Emotional Freedom Technique (E.F.T.) is a new relaxation and calming technique that modifies the anxiety response, fosters body awareness and enables positive cognitive shifts.
E.F.T. builds a highly effective bridge between the talk therapies and the touch therapies.
E.F.T. has its roots in Acupuncture and shiatsu and is considered a ‘modern meridian therapy’ – that is the therapies and techniques loosely termed Energy Psychologies that have developed in the last two decades.
In this workshop, I will teach you the basic tapping techniques and give you the opportunity to tap on each other.
We will explore the connection between Psychotherapy and E.F.T. and explore when and where to use E.F.T. in your practice.
I have found that E.F.T. is useful in treating anxiety, phobias and addictions, a useful tool where speed in treatment is necessary.
This workshop will be theoretical and experiential.
