Introduction to Food Hygiene

Suitable for induction training for staff not involved in the preparation and
storage of “open food” but who may, for example, serve food (including
feeding), wait at tables and clear away.

Course Content & Certificate
Content:– food poisoning and food spoilage micro-organisms – causes of food poisoning and its prevention – essential personal hygiene – safe food
production – role of the supervisor.
Successful completion of the course gives the Royal Environment Health
Institute of Scotland “Introduction to Food Hygiene” certificate.
