Course structure There will be some lectures throughout the day, but this course is mainly delivered as a practical workshop.
What you will learn On successful completion of this course you will be able to:

Explain how to apply a range of horizon scanning techniques to generate useful and practicable outputs for food protection

Apply the skills and tools necessary to use forward-looking information to inform food protection risk assessment and risk management

Use the skills required to undertake horizon scanning as an individual or as part of a wider scanning team working on food protection

Apply risk prioritisation methods to identify the most important activities from their horizon scanning outputs

Identify different dissemination channels and media options relevant to horizon scanning outputs

Use forward-looking information to inform operational activities related to food protection. Organisational resilience by mitigating risks and enhancing opportunities related to food protection.
