The course is designed to give you an insight into the hospitality industry. The Introduction to the Hospitality Industry is for anyone who is interested in a career in the hospitality sector. It is particularly aimed at 16-18 year olds and wanting to gain entry to trade or want to work towards a full Level 2 qualifications and skilled employment, including Apprenticeships.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirement for this qualification. All applicants will complete an initial assessment and interview for suitability

Delivery and Assessment

You will be assessed working in our Fine dining and bistro restaurant, visual observations in our production kitchens and also producing projects in the classroom

Progression

On completion of these qualifications candidates may progress into employment or to the following City & Guilds qualifications:City & Guilds Level 2 in Professional Food and Beverage Service City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ in Professional Cookery
