Course programme
Most firms do not have an in-house pensions expert, but have tied up considerable financial resources in their schemes. This introductory seminar will cover up-to-the minute information on how pensions work, particularly in the light of the fundamental obligations laid on them by the Pensions Acts 1995 and 2004 and other recent legislation.
The seminar will also explore where the government is going with its latest reform proposals and April 2006’s radical tax approval simplification.
This seminar will help you to:
1. Grasp the total picture of state and private pensions
2. Relate that picture to your own firm’s pensions policy
3. Anticipate new law proposed for the future
4. Avoid embarrassing encounters with the regulators
5. Understand the importance of the scheme trustees’ functions
Above all, this seminar will supply you with specific action points you can apply to your own firm’s circumstances.
